Chronic Fatigue is a new play by Southern playwright Kimberly Belflower in development with Front Porch Arts Collective. This August, we’ll be working with Kimberly, Front Porch’s first artist-in-residence, and five spectacular actors (three of whom are FPAC founders!) to bring this intimate drama to life on stage for the first time. Chronic Fatigue tells the story of Gracie, a twenty-something who left her small Southern family to pursue her dream of becoming a poet in New York.
But then, she comes back.
Kimberly Belflower taps into the universal experience of a broken dream and situates it within a uniquely Southern narrative, filled with authentic characters recognizable to anyone who’s experienced the search for happiness and fulfillment.
